COMPANY HISTORY:

Indorf Instrument Repair originated as Walker Music. Walker Music was started by Bruce Waker in 1976. Mr. Walker was recognized as both an outstanding musician and repair technician. Many considered him a genius in every sense of the term. Bruce and Ian Indorf met while freelancing in the Cleveland area. Over the years they developed a great friendship and Ian began to learn the instrument repair trade. Bruce was diagnosed with lung cancer and eventually passed the business on to Ian. The business was moved, and the client base was gradually increased. Today Indorf Instrument Repair continues to be a very active, well tooled repair business. One of Bruce's sons is holding the damaged trumpet on the home page of this site. Bruce passed November 8, 2004. He will always be remembered by everyone who knew him.
